Oh my gosh!! I slept sooooo good last nite!! I didn't think we would EVER leave yesterday. I was kind of worried, they stayed up too late and they were so tired, but everything worked out ( Barney kept saying-"it is all good-everything will be just great!) The driving was a breeze in our new kia, they even had a special place for me to sleep and that is a good thing because we were on the road for 11 hours. We got to Raton with no incident, checked in and Carol whipped up a good dinner for all of us-I had fresh chicken and lamb with a hint of sweet potato and brown rice-they had something that she made in the blender and poured over what looked like rocks and chicken feed, but Barney just smiled and ate it all up (I think he liked what I was having better...)So, the morning broke with alot of sun, seems pet rooms and smoker rooms are on the east side, maybe to get them out of here earlier. Carol and I went for a nice walk-so many differnent smells around here, and really no good grass, but I found some interesting areas. Carol went to walk on the treadmill while I stayed in bed with Barney. They tried for many hours to get their computer to work in the room but Barney kept saying, "We need to learn more about this ethernet thing, so Carol & I went to the business center to use the computer there to find out more information, so that is why the lovely pictures we took on the way here are not posted. Hopefully, Barney will figure out what we need before we leave..I know he will, he is so darn smart...at least that is what Carol says to him! If anyone has any answers for us, please calll us on our cell phone 817-458-2216. Well, we are off to mesa verde for two days!! Barney is real excited about seeing the cliff dwellings, Carol and I will probably walk alot.

Ah-it has been a great morning!A cool breeze, fresh chicken and lamb and to top it off, a great cookie!!! Carol put this clean mat on the grass for me (she is great at keeping me clean!) We cuddled this morning while this real cute gal worked on Carol's toes (I haven't seen Carol sit still this long in awhile!! But, now she is up and moving everywhere, so i think I'll just sit out here in the yard, while she is so busy. I heard her telling Connie on the phone that she needs to make pancakes to take on the trip-yum! I love her pancakes!! So a little nap till the smell of those lovely cakes makes its way to my nose....its a great life!!

Wow!! I didn't think I would ever get fed!! Seems Carol has alot going on-I get a few pats on the head every now and then...an occasional cookie and a quick game of catch then off she goes!! That meal made me feel so good I stirred all of my bedding around and got under my bed. When I looked out they were both smiling at me and saying something like "he's so cute....".
Oh, well, it felt good to run in circles.
So, it's for sure, we're going on a road trip! They seem so excited about it-so if its good for them, I'm excited too!! I guess I'll be doing alot of snoozing since I have a new "room" that will go in the car-Again, they are excited about this, so I will be too-just hope it isn't anything like the "boots" she got for me- I don't know if I will ever get the hang of those things!!!
Well, it is time to turn in for the fifth time today....I'm going to go see if I can find that bone I hid under the treadmill, hmmm..maybe it's under the bed........

Man, this place is buzzing!! It seems no one has the time to play with me at all!! Barney leaves almost everyday real early (earlier than I want to get up) and Carol hardly ever goes back to bed with me anymore!! She has been on the computer and on the phone everyday for nearly a month now and then she gets dressed and puts on those other shoes, when she has the pink ones on, I know she is staying put with me, but when the black ones go on-look out she's out the door!!
Lately, all this stuff has come through the door-boxes, bags and new things everywhere-there is even a new vehicle that we ride in and I can sit next to Barney and Carol at the same time!!
Oh oh she's coming in my room with a hat for me to try on (yesterday she put goggles on me and I really liked them, but I would never let her know that). I have a feeling that something is going on, I hope it isn't serious-maybe we are having ribs!! now that's a good thing!
